Re: Beneath a Sea of Lights
I enjoyed this stylish, low key, well acted crime/drama. I have always been a fan of Barkhad Abdi who is a very solid actor and he really does shine here as a likable, sympathetic lead who just so happens to get caught up in bad situations. Jim Sarbh is really good in this too as an unlikable douche, although there were times were I thought him and Barkhad's character had some nice chemistry, but you know things arent going to end well.
I think certain characters and subplots could have been better explained though or given more time to develop like the whole weird thing he has with seeing a character pretty much popping up at any random time.
