Not gonna lie, the battles against Electro looked good, though as overall character development, it was shit How much character development does one want in a superhero villain? None who says "I'm a nobody"

The Joker is infinitely more well-liked than The Scarecrow. Bane is less liked than The Joker, hence the downfall in interest in The Dark Knight Rises. Batman is a boring hero. Whereas Spider-Man is fun and adventurous.

Worst comment ever Please fill me in on how Batman is so great and interesting. He has no special powers and just uses money to buy stuff. That. Is. So. Boring. Oh, and he's afraid of bats. What a pussy.

In a time of great inequality, Batman gives us hope that not all rich people are the worst.

 Re: Spider-Man 2
Yeah this film still holds up incredibly well. This is how you do a sequel that improves on the predecessor. They upped the dramatic stakes and the action and it all works. Alfred Molina is fantastic as Doc Ock and I love how Raimi gave him so much depth as a villain. You really felt sorry for him in the end. Tobey Maguire is great here aswell. I see so many complaints about him being a crybaby or Spider-Man not wisecracking enough, but honestly it never bothered me and Peter is going through some pretty heavy emotional stuff in this movie, so I thought it was very well done. Love the action sequences too, especially the clock tower/train fight. Easily some of the best set-pieces ever in any superhero movie.

Pretty good. One of my favorite superhero flicks. Much better than the shitty Webb ones

 Re: Spider-Man 2
This still is pretty good even compared to the current standards of superhero movies. The CGI is much better here than the TASM movies. The only caveat is that Spider-Man is not in here enough but it is so surprising that non-MCU Spider-Man movies (along with Spiderverse) have so much more comic-vibe in them.
