Re: 16th WOKJ Motion Picture Awards – Nominations
Maybe we like expressive acting? Yeah, I like the Best Actresses noms. These characters were great to begin with. Then the actresses had something to play with. I so wanted Luce to be nominated for something. It's a rare great exposé of a phenomenon residing deep in our subconscious. The Farewell should get more noms too for its authenticity.

Endgame as adapted screenplay? Movie of the year? Bitches you cray. Florence deserved to be in for fighting with my family.

Re: 16th WOKJ Motion Picture Awards – Nominations
Replace Laura Dern with... mmm maybe Margot Robbie in Bombshell and our Supporting Actress noms would be perfect too. I didn't even nominate Feguson but nice choice.

I'd assume not a lot of people here have seen Uncut Gems. Maybe y'all should've put him as your #1.

Re: 16th WOKJ Motion Picture Awards – Nominations
I like our nominations. Except for a few.
Craig was my #1 in Actor. He really owned that movie, and even though it was well written I think it could have fallen apart without such an enthusiastic performance.

Ummm first glance, these are pretty awesome.
Some specific yays: Booksmart in Editing (seriously, so good): Us for Score (fuckin haunting)
I haven’t seen Midsommar and not sure if I want to subject myself to it. Haven’t seen Uncut Gems either.

Voting Process
The process for voting simple. Pick your favorite in each category and submit your choices to me.
Once you submit your vote - it is final and cannot be changed.
Tentative deadline for votes is Wednesday, February 26, with the winners be revealed that following weekend. This should give everyone plenty of time to check out any of the nominees they have yet to see and vote.
