 Best romcom of the decade?
They took it on the chin this decade, but there was still a few solid ones
I didn’t include Easy A, Scott Pilgrim or any Woody Allen movies as romcoms

Re: Best romcom of the decade?
I’d vote for Deinitely, Maybe but that’s from 2008.
I’m going to give the slight edge to Crazy, Stupid, Love over About Time.

Whoops, I guess I’m gonna have to put The Switch on the poll cause I had trouble reaching 19 options (I didn’t know what Obvious Child is but it’s ranked high on some romcom lists)

Re: Best romcom of the decade?
I haven't seen About Time. I should though because of Rachel McAdams.
I went with Silver Linings Playbook.
Enough Said is underrated and worth seeing mainly due to having Julia LD and James Gandolfini in one of his final roles.
Also liked Crazy Rich Asians.

Why was Easy A not considered?

Re: Best romcom of the decade?
Easy A doesn't really have the Romantic angle, not prominently anyway. Guess that's why we're not including Bridesmaids.
From that list I'd go with Silver Linings Playbook, Crazy Stupid Love, Trainwreck and The Big Sick.

Re: Best romcom of the decade?
Alright.
Then from this list I'll select The Big Sick, Crazy Stupid Love, Love Simon, To All the Boys I've Loved Before and Set it Up.
Probably go with The Big Sick

Re: Best romcom of the decade?
Easy A is one of the more borderline ones, but I see it as more of a comedy with a romantic interest than a romcom. Magic in the Moonlight is probably the Stone film I should’ve put on the more I think of it, but I’m the only one here who likes that movie anyways

Re: Best romcom of the decade?
I think Easy A is more just a comedy, as the romance stuff is REALLY brief and almost entirely at the very end.
I voted Love, Simon. But Crazy, Stupid, Love and a few others are really high up there. A lot of great films.

I voted for Trainwreck. I haven’t seen a lot of these though.

I went with the 5 year engagement because it's the funniest of the bunch.

Re: Best romcom of the decade?
I've seen about half of those. Generally not a huge fan of the genre, although at least there's a gay one this decade.
I almost glossed over the one that is far and away the glittering jewel, my favorite of the bunch: Enough Said. Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and James Gandolfini.... what? It's amazing. I haven't seen it since 2014 or so, but remember watching it three times and absolutely loving it. Struck me as more genuine and mature than most of these types of movies.
Runners up for me: Crazy Stupid Love, Silver Linings Playbook. sorta interested in seeing: To All the Boys I've Loved Before

I went with Silver Linings Playbook. Second would be About Time. Hated choosing between them though.
