If the streams are strong (... should be) the Ariana/Miley/Lana track could debut at #1.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the new Halsey song debuted higher. Circles will be number one for a few weeks I think. Too early to tell what the next number one will be. Probably Ransom or a song that’s not out yet.

I would think the fan-bases of the 3 could possibly get it to #1. I'm excited for Lana's involvement but don't care about the other two. Hopefully it's good.

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Post Malone had the second highest debut of the year with ~467k. And only 200k of those were in traditional album sales so those streaming numbers must have been nuts. For example, Tool had 200k in album sales but only 250k units total.
So I wouldn't be surprised to see him take the top spot this week and quite probably have 2/3 others in the top ten as well.
His eyelids tattoos are still really stupid though.

Sunflower is in the top 10 in its 47th week on the chart. Astounding. Awesome for Someone You Loved as well. I hope Beautiful People can hit top 10 next.

oh no! doesn't that mean Lizzo doesn't get the record for longest #1 rap single (female)?

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Highest In The Room plays like such a throwaway single, very surprised it was able to debut at #1. I figured 10,000 Hours had a chance at top ten though, was strong on iTunes throughout the week. The charts must be desperate for new blood.

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Next week has to be SYL's last chance to hit #1. With the rumors of the fourth coming of music Industry's savior arriving sometime in the next few weeks, no one gonna have shot at #1.

Next week should be a mess with Lose You To Love Me, Follow God, and potentially Memories, and Look at Her Now and Beautiful People all with potential to hit top 10.

Who gives a shit about next week?
The best ballad of the year hit #1, by an unknown artist, in the middle of urban/Latin trend. This is an amazing #1

Selena will be #1. It’s killing it across the board with sales, streams and youtube. I assume the radio airplay is crazy high too.

Seems Circles and Good As Hell should be next if Adele, Rihanna and Drake don’t release. And I think Dance Monkey will hit number one sometime down the line.
