Negligible difference. SO! IW had a 52.48% retention on weekend 2 from weekend 1 (minus previews), which leads to a $155,829,677 mil 2nd weekend for EG (a 56.4% total drop)

This week was definitely boosted for EG by spillover effect on Monday and Tuesday. I don't think it will be close next week. Like the idea of these tough Chippy

$885 million sounds about right to me. If it gets to $895 million it'll probably get an August re-release to boost it to $900 million, but $50 million short of TFA sounds about right.

What another 100m. It grossed almost 150m and its at 620m. Another 280m would be just average legs. As we go beyond Memorial weekend its weekday grosses will get stronger. Also its keeping iMax and most of PLF till Aladdin. I still evening IMax show selling out over this week in major markets.

No, I meant it will look like missing 900m but it will ultimately make it with Labor day expansion. Similar to how BP crossed 700m. It looked like missing it initially but had fantastic late legs that carried it over.

Downgrading from my $930 estimate. More like $910m. It will sell more tickets than Avatar ultimately.

It increased under 17% on tuesday. Infinity War - 2nd Tue - 10.7m and grossed another 206.7m. Similar run for Endgame from 12.5 would be ~ 887m finish.

Endgame has been more front loaded than IW which is normal considering how much bigger it has been and so this could wind down around 870m.

Or after it beats Avatar domestic and WW, it gets tremendous publicity and legs out late summer to 900m. That is the best case scenario.

Will still have around a $72 mil 2nd weekend, and should hold better than IW next weekend.
