Blocking should make it so users can’t see your posts, not the other way around

Blocking within a forum means you are choosing to block someone and not the other way around. But it might be a great feature, I'll take a look into it if it's possible.

Blocking is because you do not want to be affected by their shit anymore. So their posts are hidden. This is not a dating site where you have private information that you don't want others to see. Blocking your own posts from others would not encourage communication at all, which is the opposite that a forum wants to do.

To be fair, I think what zwackerm is proposing is how Twitter works. But I would agree with you - it kinda defeats the purpose of a forum. Plus, just like Twitter, anyone could technically still see your posts, they just have to log out first.
