It's not really that interesting. He was associated with someone that had vague ties to crime families, but that also had legitimate businesses elsewhere. But, of course, lesterg will always seek the worst and take that as reality. Don't believe everything lesterg writes. Get the facts and make your own conclusions.

And here’s a story about the Seagal mob business. It actually is interesting. https://www.nytimes.com/2002/07/13/nyre ... ywood.html

That article is quite the fun read actually...I'm doubtful whether Seagal really had any ins with the mob, even though his long time producer seemed to. Maybe Seagal even broke off with him particularly because Nasso got in so deep with the mob. But the article: a typo in a NYT article Quote: Buddhism has not gotten in the way of Steven's career -- he's still making motion pictures. This was 2002, (chuckle) Quote: Judge Fredric Block Frederic is Seagal's middle name Quote: Jack T. Litman, Mr. Nasso's criminal lawyer Lit(igator)man...what's in a name

Another fun read - the infamous Spy Magazine article from 1993: https://books.google.com/books/about/Sp ... Q9WL9ODdwC

Re: Under Siege 3 ... Seagal as star, writer, director.
Seagal clearly wasn't in with the mob. Nasso sued him for not acting in a 6-film-deal, and they broke ties afterwards, after only being linked for about 7 years from 91-98. Remember, his first two films, Nasso wasn't involved with - he was hanging on because he loved the film world, but he was not financially involved. And suing, hmm, hardly a mob thing to do. If he really had ties with the mob, it would have been a hit, not 'oh honey, let's get our lawyer'.

You should really hide.
He somehow took a weak joke from 20 years ago and butchered it, and I honestly can't tell if he thinks that is an actual political stance or not.
