 Re: Food.
We went to Guangzhou last weekend and ate at a Turkish restaurant. Now, this wasn't some dirty, greasy, noisy Turkish kebab house that I expected from my times walking home drunk and getting some juicy dog meat to soak up the beer. No. This was a top-class Turkish restaurant that really care about how to make food. OH MY GOD...Best food I've had all year. The meat is so amazing, and I am a big meat lover. I had 0 complaints. I cannot wait to go back there and take my wife.

 Re: Food.
Chipotle is test running Chorizo in the Kansas City locations.
In other news, I'm driving to Kansas City RIGHT NOW.

 Re: Food.
Anyone have quinoa? Apparently it's good for you, but I've never even seen it for sale anywhere. Is it a substitute for rice and pasta?

 Re: Food.
Taco Bell is beginning to serve alcohol in their "freeze" drinks in their Chicago locations.
Welp. There goes my Friday nights!

 Re: Food.
Has anyone had Cherries Jubilee before? Sounds lovely. I first heard of it from Tenacious D when Jack orders at the drive-thru. Quote: Cherries jubilee is a dessert dish made with cherries and liqueur, which is subsequently flambéed, and commonly served as a sauce over vanilla ice cream.

 Re: Food.
Yeah it's good. Liquor usually works with desert. How else would explain Jello Shots or Amaretto and Clementines (My brother-In-Law's father turned me onto that. One shot, one clementine and sip it over an hour, it's quite delightful.)
I just tried for my first time chili and eggs, which I thought would be weird but the yolk actually worked really well with it.
