lovermox's new thread made me think about the question that I always pose to people when I go out clubing: "Would you rather be drunk or high?"

As for me, it depends on how I'm feeling. If I'm at a party, I'd rather drink. If I'm alone or with a couple of friends, then the budda is what I opt for. Overall though, I'd have to go with being drunk because I tend to have way more fun and, for some reason, attract more people. Being high is awesome too though, but sometimes I get kinda paranoid and anti-social. My thoughts turn into diareah as well.

Hehe..theres not a better feeling..but if you have to be high off WEED!!!! But my friends always called my the Weed Man of Wonder, cause for some reason even though I smoke(d), I never did any hardcore drugs (Hashish not included), I never became dependent on it, and I never got Stupid ( I HAVE GREAT GRADES)

But whever Im drunk, I don't feel good. I feel..so...low. But, I do love the feeling of being drunk with friends... \:D/

drunk. Getting high almost made me fail 9th grade french. The only reason I didn't fail that class was because me & my french teacher were friends. But getting drunk is the way for rusty to go. Haven't gotten high in the longest time. Must have been at least 4 or 5 months now.

Never gotten "high", actually never smoked anything. I've gotten almost drunk, but not quite.

This isn't directed at you, but just made me think of something....

I hate to be the starter of a possible debate, but you must admit, isn't being high more "safer" then being drunk? I mean, whens the last time you heard someone killed someone while being high? Therefore, don't you think weed should be legal!!!

It depends on what you're getting high on. If it's just pot, I'd say that's better than getting drunk. It's not as unhealthy (in fact, studies show that pot does have some health benefits, and I've yet to hear the same about alcohol), you can still drive under the influence, the buzz wears off faster without the hangover effect, it's not an addicting drug, and it even taps into your creative side. I don't suggest doing either one, but we all know that pot is only illegal because the government can't figure out a way to regulate it and get their hooks into people's wallets some more.

Well, if I had to choose, then it's drunk.

Geeze, who cares whether it's legal or not??? I'll take some kick ass Hydroponic Pot any day over getting drunk because based on experience, supreme experience in the last 20 years, I find that I can focus and function off smoking a couple of puffs of some ass kicking Hydro herb than getting plowed on alcohol and studies have been shown that a person can function much better off being high on Pot than being drunk on alcohol.. I also think this is a hypocritical society we live in where we can't legalize pot and we should legalize it since it really is blown so far out of fucking proportion that not once, NOT ONCE have we ever had an article that a Man or Woman has died due to complications brought on by Marijuana, but damn sure we've seen articles of people dying from Alcohol poisoning or Cirrosis of the liver brought on by extensive alcohol abuse.. It's fucking sickening and the Government is full of bullshit by not legalizing this.. However, progress is now bing made slowly but surely in decriminalizing it in many states and legalized i some, i.e Alaska, California, Arizona and recently Columbia MO has decriminalized it to where you can carry under 28 grams and not go to jail if busted, but receive a misdemeanor.. I say that what a person does behind closed doors, in their own home, not harming anyone in that this is a victimless crime, that we should be allowed to cultivate and grow our own without the interference of the Government.. I pay my bills and work my ass off and if I want to smoke some greenage, then that's MY BUSINESS, not the Government... Crack Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Speed, all of this has been proven to kill and YES, I think Law enforcement officials have a much bigger issue with these drugs I've listed, but Pot is on the low end of the totem pole and ot that big of a deal like it's made out to be..
