Black Lion
Piloted by Keith. Forms the head and body of Voltron. The Black Lion sets on the tower in front of the Castle of Lions

Blue Lion
Piloted by Allura. Forms the right leg of Voltron. The Blue Lion sits underwater in the lake around the Castle of Lions

Green Lion
Piloted by Pidge. Forms the left arm of Voltron. The Green Lion sits inside a tree in the middle of the forest

Yellow Lion
Piloted by Hunk. Forms the left leg of Voltron. The Yellow Lion sits in the middle of the desert in a cave

Red Lion
Piloted by Lance. Forms the right arm of Voltron. The Red Lion sits in a cave in the heart of a Volcano

I liked car Voltron too.

Does anyone remember Sven, the former Blue Tiger pilot?

Yes..I do. Wasn't he captured by Lotar? I vaguely remember an episode when they found him and I believe he had amnesia or something to that effect.

I had a huge crush on Allura, btw!

I hated the fact that they took Sven off the Blue Tiger. He was my favorite. Bloody diversification.

Besides the obvious diversification issue, I think they also took him away too because it would have been competition for the Keith/Allura scenario.

as a kid, i always called them tigers. Cept the big one .. .he was the only lion looking of the lot really.

then i saw the car ones. Those were great! first time i saw the heroes actually fall ...

Lol..I never liked the car Voltron for some odd reason. I was all about the Lions. I even made my parents buy me the cast iron toy set that you put together to form Voltron for a huge amount of money at that time. I still have my lions..hehe...somewhere.

hahahaha my good lad. I owned each individual lions too ... they used to get together and form the entire robot .. over a foot tall.

I also had a spare black lion with a missing chest and a faulty left front paw (wouldn't close properly so i couldn't use him for voltron transformation .. stupid arm wouldn't stay with the lion was attached).

I also had the smaller complete voltron that couldn't be divided. They were a menacing team against Casey Jones, Computron (Transformers) and Skeletor.

I always wanted the following robots:

Grandizer (my beloved robot. He was sooo cool in my books, I tookthe 4 different types of legos i had and made a robot out of him, naming its weaponry after that of Grandizer)


Gai King (Used to religiously follow his escapades. Still remember the episode with the android chick. thought she was hot. Dies sadly : ( )

Why are cartoons of today such rubbish? I mean..pokeman...etc.? Whyyyyy?
