A homicide detective goes undercover as a patient to investigate a psychotherapist he believes is linked to a strange double murder. As his therapy sessions continue the line between fantasy and reality begins to blur.

The Ghoul
If this wasn't in some way influenced by David Lynch's Lost Highway then I'm the son of Zeus. Sadly, it goes nowhere and has nothing of note to say. A lot of British films are great, but this bore is one of those unfortunate blips. If it wasn't for the brilliant Geoffrey McGivern who injects some much-needed life into it all, I would be convinced it is a student project. The opening and closing score is awesomely haunting, and that may be my favourite thing about The Ghoul.
