Spacey’s role must not have been that big. Still amazing nonetheless. And Algren’s right. This will give the film much needed buzz, at least from movie fans who will go to see it and see how much needed to be reshot.

How much of the film are they going to be able to market though? Can they have anew trailer after a couple of days of shooting with Plummer?

Edit: Read most of the article. Spacey shot 8 to 10 days. 8 to 10 days is usually nothing, but I wonder how much they’ll have to trim that schedule to reach the 22nd.

Still wish it would be possible to see the original Spacey version somewhere too eventually.

It’s pretty cool that Plummer was Scott’s first choice for the role. Tom Rothman made him cast Spacey instead. Hopefully Plummer is getting a nice increase over his standard quote.
