Post For Better or Worse - Mickey Dee's serves 50 million per day
The Golden Arches are everywhere — and it started 50 years ago Friday, when a milkshake machine salesman opened his first McDonald's in this Chicago suburb and began turning a small chain of hamburger stands into an empire that would include 30,000 restaurants, serve 50 million people a day, and become a symbol of the United States all over the world.

I love McDonalds! I eat it 2-3 times a week. And although I am not ripped like say Brad Pitt I am not fat either. Those people who whine about getting fat from McDonalds are STUPID!

mcdonalds is great if you want a quick, cheap meal. i eat there mostly before school, on lunch breaks or on the way to vacation spots. i don't eat there too often though because i get tired of it if i go there repeatedly

Now I eat it rarely, when I do get fast food, i tend to go to Boston market or Subway.

The last time I ate fast food was drivign home from Toronto, since that is your only choice when driving on the width of NY state on i-90 and the width of MA on 1-90. Even then I jsut ate the fries and a orea mcflurry from McDonald's.

No Jack, not a jack in the Box - he is just the coolest.

Sorry nevermind I guess he isn't you.

Fries - Love them but that is one thing that I gave up at the fast food places.

Watching what you eat sure sucks - for me.

When I go, I just try to get a sandwich or salad with a bottle of water.

I don't eat it often but I do now and then.

And I want to say a word in favor of McDonald's...

You know what bugs me is when people use McDonald's as a scapegoat for people's choices in what to eat. McDonald's didn't replace anything healthy, it replaced the greasy spoon crappy diners that used to be common all across America. McDonald's basically took what people were already eating, and put it in a nicer, cleaner, more efficient setting.

I like McDonalds a lot. Their McChickens are only a dollar. A dollar! I get about 3 or 4 of them. I used to get Grilled Chicken which is healthier, but then I realized 1 Grilled Chicken = 3 McChickens in price.

I despise most fast food places. I refuse to eat McDonalds, and if I have to eat fast food, I'll eat Taco Bell. I like the former/casual type of food places, like Subway. Sonic is pretty good too. But Subway <3

Totally forgot about Rally's. Awesome burgers....I don't know whether the food is synthesized and procized thousands of times, but it sure doesn't taste like it. Their fries are also amazing.

You people really have not tasted good fries until you've tasted Rally's fries. My nearest Rally's is about two miles away, in a direction I never go. It's a rare occasion I get to eat there, but I do it as much as possible. :(

Best fries ever would have to be Deluxe fries though. I highly doubt that you guys know about them but their only restaurants in northern ontario but those fries rock even more power harder.

Checkers/Rally's is near me. I don't eat it because it...sucks.

So does McDonalds, in fact.

The only hamburger joint I can really stand at this point is Five Guys, which is a relatively local chain that is so...so...so...good.

If you've ever been to Fuddruckers, the burgers at Five Guys taste a lot like that.
