So buddists cannot get into heaven?....according to you...

Well, in my religion, no.
On a side note, Martha Stewart is the reason I am saved.

Christianity dosen't preach that all non-christians are going to hell....So i guess your religion isnt "christian"

Look out guys, let's try to avoid a flame war from a simple question. I'm trying to be cordial reading through some of this.

Actaully, it kinda does. You only get in to heaven if you've accepted Jesus Christ and are without sin. If your definition of a non-christian is someone who doesn't accept the Savior, then they are definitely going to hell. God doesn't choose to send you there, you do.
I'm a Nazarene, a denomination of Christianity. I'm just repeating what my pastor says and what I believe.
I don't wish to start any more religous fights as well.

christianity pretty much does preach that if you're not christian you're going to hell. my girlfriend's step-dad is hardcore christian and he preaches about that all the time. he says if you are not true christian you will not make it to the kingdom of heaven.

It isnt a fight...just a debate
What about people in tribes in Africa, who live in the wilderness who have never even heard the name Jesus Christ. Or people who are born and die without ever knowing of Christianity...they are just going to hell?
No offense, but your pastor seems a little....off to say such things

Yeh christianity does kind of say that non-christians go to ... well ... hell.
There is something called ... purgatory ... that is neither heaven nor hell ... and some people can go there, but I am not well versed on it to really get into it.

Oooh... this is a good one, thanks for bringing it up. People who have never heard of Christ therefore cannot reject him. These people are much like children, who go to heaven automatically since they are not old enough to decide for themself. It is the same way for mentally retarded people. They all go to heaven.

If there is only one savior, Jesus Christ, how come there are so many denomations of christianity. It seems that these denominations differ from each other. Defeats the whole idea of christianity is based on, since these denominations do not all believe the same thing.

Makes sense...really
But, say for example someone goes over to....another country to try and convert some buddists. Say this one particular buddist is an 80 year old man, been buddist all his life. Can you really expect him to "accept christ" and believe something that is contrary to what he has believe his entire life because someone is holding a bible and singing hymns to him telling him the wonderful teachings of christ?

Different denominations differ on issues that aren't too well explained in the Bible. Example: My denomination believes that sin is willfully going against God, so it doesn't include things that you didn't know were sins. Others think that you can sin without even knowing it.

Then who decides which denomination is the most accurate?

It depends on certain things. One, if he's even heard of Christianity. If he has, then to be honest he wouldn't go to heaven. If he hasn't heard of it, and he understands what's going on and actually rejects Christ (him knowing what it is about), then he would go to hell.
In another situation, a down-to-heart Christian who is extremely against all sinful things lives his life without sin. Then on his 90th birthday, he commits one small sin that he knows is against God and then shortly after, he dies. He goes to hell.
