Wow. I hope Latin Lover increases a lot because that would be awful!

When was the last time Cinco De Mayo was on Friday? I'm curious what Saturday increases are like.

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/daily/char ... ck=mi3.htmNothing really out of the ordinary here but I swear it has only gotten bigger. Might explain the huge drop for Latin Lover for Friday.

 Re: early Friday #s
Nice but expected for GotG2 and DH's estimates are just LOL. I wonder if B2 will manage a decent 60% drop. Great for TBB, I wonder why BatB is not reported I am sure it won't do less than Circle with the GotG2 boost.

 Re: early Friday #s
Yeah CW generated a lot of buzz with those glowing reviews and a huge cast spectacle. I don't think comparing GotG2 to CW is the right way determining its legs.

 Re: early Friday #s
Honestly, this sort of makes Civil War's opening look a lot better in comparison. Not that I'm saying these are bad numbers for Guardians 2, but I must admit it is a bit underwhelming considering I believe this franchise is way more GA friendly than most of the other MCU films. If it follows Deadlines projection it's definitely finishing under the first movie domestically.

 Re: early Friday #s
It's doing well. The first one really overperformed so the second making 40m+ more OW is still very good.

 Re: early Friday #s
No huge Friday boost for BATB? Figured it wouldn't drop more than 10% this weekend.

 Re: early Friday #s
Domestic is still ok. Guardians disappointed in China big time. Looking at $45m Ow and a total that will be lower than 1st film. ER is slightly worse(around 10%) but its benefiting from counting online ticket surcharge as part of gross (china started doing that this year to "boost" BO gross).

 Re: early Friday #s
To be fair to Beauty and the Beast, neither Jungle Book nor Zootopia received a boost with CA:CW last year.
