Again, this literally happens. Yes. And it's against the law. Murder, rape, theft, etc. are against the law. They still happen. Laws can't completely eliminate a problem. And as I believe you said you have no answer as to how to make it better...

Re: Happy Equal Pay Day! If Chippy makes more money than any women in his office in the same role, he should give them the amount that is in excess of their wages. It is only fair and I don't want to saddle him with the burden of perpetuating the patriarchy.

You just undermined your entire argument with the statement bolded. This is the exact point Zwack and I have been making in this thread and it explains aggregate wage differences between men and women and people in general.
