Sylvester Stallone was caught on camera Friday heading to the set of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” He is pictured holding a script, likely evidence of a role in the sequel to the 2014 blockbuster.
Stallone, 69, was spotted leaving an Atlanta hotel where the movie’s cast stays, a source told the Daily News. “The Creed” star then got into a car usually assigned to Chris Pratt, the star of the movie.
Marvel Studios has yet to respond to the News’ request for comment, and no official announcement has been made on whether Stallone is in the movie.

The sequel to the wildly successful “Guardians of the Galaxy” — which grossed $773.3 million worldwide — is being made at Pinewood Studio in Georgia.
While Stallone’s appearance in the film is unconfirmed, there is a huge role for someone as the father of Peter Quill (Pratt), a mysterious character teased by director James Gunn. New cast addition Kurt Russell had previously been rumored to be playing that role. More likely, however, Stallone's role would be a cameo, says the source.
Here is who we know for certain is returning for the sequel: Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista and Karen Gillan.
Stallone, who was just nominated for an Academy Award for his supporting role in “Creed,” has never played a superhero. He has, though, played a stud, starring in “The Party at Kitty and Stud’s", a one-man Army in “Rambo” and everyone’s favorite underdog boxer in the “Rocky” films.
