It never really knows whether to focus on Edward Nortonm or Paul Giamatti, and the ending wasn't nearly as hard to figure out as the film thought it was (and what was with Giamatti grinning like a kid on Christmas?). The magic stuff is great, the plot is intriguing, and the acting is excellent.
