 Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie
 Quote: Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie is a 2016 British female buddy comedy film directed by Mandie Fletcher and written by Jennifer Saunders, based on the television show Absolutely Fabulous. The film stars Saunders, Joanna Lumley, Julia Sawalha, June Whitfield and Jane Horrocks.
Principal photography began on 12 October 2015 in the south of France. Theatrically released in the United Kingdom on 1 July 2016, the film is distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures worldwide.

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie is indefinitely unamazing. Naturally, it's a movie only for fans of the TV series, and the shoutouts and callbacks are fun. The real weakness is the script, which could have used another heaping helping of funny. At least the second half is better than the first, which lets you leave the theatre on a high note. Bond girl, Joanna Lumley still looks great at 70. Plus, there was an unexpected cameo in the pool near the end that was a real treat for those who never believed they'd see them on screen again! *B* (Strictly for fans only, anyone else interested should absolutely avoid starting here, go back to the fabulous series)
