This is really hard to predict, I can't come up with numbers. So i am just going to list them w/o numbres
1 Episode III-just because Madagascar looks really bad
2 Madagascar
3 War of the Worlds
4 Charlie and the Chocholate Factory
5 Batman Begins
6 The Island
7 The Longest Yard
8 Wedding Crashers
9 Mr. and Mrs. Smith
10. Fantastic Four

My list:
1. Star Wars: EPISODE III - Revenge of the Sith - $331 million
2. War of the Worlds - $315 million
3. Madagascar - $289 million
4. Batman Begins - $169 million
5. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - $145 million
After the first five it gets a bit blurry. I don't see any other movie passing $140 million this summer.

You realize that it's a dark R-rated historical epic headlined by Orlando Bloom, right?

Good point.
5. Kingdom of Heaven - $1.00
If Troy can make 130+ million, there's no reason why a good R-rated historical epic starring Orlando Bloom can't make an extra 70 mill. Plus I'm counting the fall rerelease for Oscar.

Oh, I forgot xXx: State of the Union. And, Doom was moved to October, DP07.
Guys, I can't stress enough how crazy some of the War of the Worlds predictions are. There is no way that will pass $300 million. It has as much a chance as Batman Begins, which also won't cross $300 million.

Even with great reviews, I dont see it making more then around 35mil opening weekend, with a total in the low 100's

Did Gladiator have a rerelease for the Oscar? I think it did and it made an extra million. So I suppose you expect it to make $199 million in its first run
Troy had infinitely much more going for it than Kingdom of Heaven. It had better marketing (okay, arguable), a bigger cast, it was based on a much more popular story (who is too interested in Crusades?) and it wasn't nearly as dark as Kingdom of Heaven.
Besides that you say "a good R-rated historical epic starring Orlando Bloom". Well, it is headlined by Bloom. How on earth can the words "good" and "Orlando Bloom" be in the same sentence? I mean, it will be good, yeah, that's what early reviews indicate as well. But it won't be a masterpiece and to make anywhere close to the sum you've mentioned, it'd need to be a masterpiece.
