Anyone who thinks 3rd Party voting is "protest voting" is stupid. You should vote for the best candidate.

It can be, and no doubt some will, but voting third-party (at least this year) is just fucking stupid. Gary Johnson is an idiot who makes Trump look like a political scholar. It also doesn't help that he's actually celebrated his idiocy with Dubya. I'm guessing Trump could name at least two political leaders outside of the US. And Stein is anti-vaccines. She's a doctor...

The country desperately needs a third party, but these two (along with Trump) shouldn't be allowed near a voting booth let alone be on the ballot. And I'm not the biggest Hillary fan either, but at this point, she could come out before the next debate and club a bunch of baby seals, moon everyone, and give everyone the double-finger, and I'd be perfectly fine voting for her. She'd still be the most qualified and presidential.

I don't know who I'm voting for yet, but I certainly will vote for whoever I think is best, not vote for Hillary just so Trump won't win.

Unless it's mixing up lack of political skills with being dumb. He froze in front of the camera a few times, the brain does weird things when under pressure. The same is probably true of W. Bush and Palin to an extent, the track record of college eduction and being politically elected probably says more than them stumbling over words on TV. Overall Gary has political experience as governor of New Mexico (which did well under him I believe) and he appears to be a nice human being, I'd take that over Trump 100 times out of 10.

We're going to get Hillary or Trump. There is no chance in this world or any other that Stein or Johnson will win, so voting for them is like not voting at all.

There's nothing particularly honorable about throwing away your vote on someone who has no chance. Might as well write in "Mickey Mouse."

If undecided, don't vote. You'll only hate yourself afterwards when you realise you helped vote in the wrong one.

Honestly, I don't know how anyone could be undecided at this point. And if you're thinking of voting third party, just cut out the middle man and check next to Trump. Or stay home.

Many millennials are still going to support Johnson for the sole reason of "He's third party! Down with the two-party rigged system!". I know a lot of people who "support" Trump, Johnson or Stein for this very reason; it doesn't matter how uninformed and unqualified he, or any other third party candidates happen to be to many of them.

It's perfectly fine to challenge the two-party system/establishment, it'd be for the better, but not when buffoons are your only choices that are exploiting you. Instead of voting for whoever because they're anti-establishment or third party, try to encourage establishing themselves and future candidates in the future as actual qualifying representatives of your vote. It's not going to happen overnight, but overtime, it can build into something more.

I might vote for her. I will probably decide day of.

And I honestly don't consider myself super politically read yet on this election, it's hard to find unbiased reporting on either candidate. If anyone could suggest objective resources for me, that would be helpful.

Obviously not objective, but his segments are always fact-based and well-researched for your typical political comedy show.

Honestly, Trumps' cons do outweigh Hillary's and I'll probably vote for her. But I really don't want to. But I probably will.

Most of my friends are aggressively liberal and their intolerance of Trump supporters honestly makes me sympathize for the GOP. Like, my other friend posted that he was supporting Trump on Facebook, and they all legitimately hate him now. I'm not going to vote for Trump for that reason, but the oppression Trump supporters face upsets me.

Probably because 75% (if not more) of Trump's supporters are bigots like he is? You shouldn't feel sympathy for them being persecuted, that's insane. And you shouldn't vote for Trump because you feel bad his supporters are being belittled for being, you know, racist.

The psychopath in this video below (which happened last night at a rally in Pennsylvania, just after the NYT story broke) should not be president of the United States, under any circumstances.

Most of Trump supporters I talk to ignore the racism, and are just like "he speaks his mind!" And "well Hillary disclosed confidential emails, she's a criminal."
