He's certainly had a varied career, and the funniest thing is that he's not exactly making excellent movie after excellent movie even now! Runner Runner and Dawn of Justice are only slightly less shit than Daredevil, Paycheck and The Sum of All Fears were back in the early 2000s. The guy is just prone to making career mistakes because he cares more about being popular then making quality films. The only difference is that he also makes one or two good films now, partly due to working with good directors or directing himself.

I honestly don't think he has. I mean his reaction to J Lo saying "gobble gobble" probably took a lot of restraint. He just reacts to better written lines now.

Gigli reminds me a lot like Pluto Nash. It's not a good film by any means. But he has handed in far worse performances. People just excuse it because the films are considered good, and he is the weak link.

Bennifer was the worst case of the media shoving the "power couple" narrative down the public's throat at every turn.

Gigli was the result of the public throwing it right back up at them in response.

I just mostly feel terrible for Jen Garner tho.
