 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Really, I haven't watched Smackdown in years, but the Live aspect really helps. But yeah, I definitely dug it way more than RAW this week. RAW is a chore at 3 hours, I end up skipping so much, whereas Smackdown feels like it could be a little longer but I'm glad it's not. It's better to leave us wanting more than wanting it to be over quicker.

Eva is slowly becoming the heat magnet she was destined to be and I love it,.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Whoever is writing Eva's storyline deserves a raise. LOLOL
OF course she won't compete next week and will have her debut on Summerslam but damn girl, she is the biggest troll in WWE.

So Paige and Del Rio, who are banging, got drafted to different shows to split them up, then Vince suspended them both 30 days on her birthday for Wellness Policy

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Too bad. She's been fun on Smackdown so far. I'm sure her stock will/would have dropped when she actually started wrestling.
Dean Ambrose allegedly has some heat on him for comments made on the Stone Cold podcast about Brock Lesnar being lazy for their Mania match, not wanting it to be more than a mediocre match. You know, if you're going to promote Austin's podcast and air it on your network and let the guests be real and honest, why chastise them?
Not to mention you're busy suspending talent, meanwhile your biggest star, Brock Lesnar, was dinged for some sort of violation with UFC. For as much progress as they try to make, WWE still loves the double standards of say one thing and do something different.

Feel like they might make Lesnar lose to Orton as a punishment for the PEDs

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
NXT: Takeover was another great show, though I didn't find it as strong as previous shows.
I just started watching the CWC, and so far it's been pretty entertaining.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
The tag title match was amazing and I enjoyed the debut of Bobby Roode. Andrade Almas also looks great in the ring. The Asuka-Bayley and Joe-Nakamura combination was good but didn't blow me away

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
That Summerslam felt really long to me. Charlotte-Sasha and Cena-Styles were awesome but everything after Cena-Styles felt like a letdown and the crowd was dead. Having 2 title belts on the same show made both of them less important.
I think in the Brock-Orton match, Orton wasn't selling his moves so Brock went nuts and started getting way too physical with him.

It was five+ hours, including the pre-show. That's too fucking long for anything. The big shows (Mania, Summerslam, Rumble) should be three hours. That's it. The RAW/Smackdown exclusive PPVs should be two hours. Split the brand, only feature four or five matches. There will apparently be 19 PPVs a year now? That's way overkill. Not every show needs three hours. Per year, this is what we're looking at: 156 hours a year of RAW 104 hours a year of Smackdown 60 hours approx a year of PPV Not counting any other side shows not factored in. That's over 300 hours a year. Two straight weeks basically. I don't care what anyone says, that's a lot. And they just don't have the content to fill that much time.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Balor has to relinquish his championship tonight due to an injury and may need surgery (which could put him out for the rest of the year)... It was caused by the running powerbomb into the barricade last night. I think this is the third injury that's come as a result of that move in less than a year, so I wonder if they'll consider banning it.
And apparently, Lesnar and Jericho had an altercation following the ending of last night's PPV, in which HHH and Vince had to settle backstage.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
It would be nice if Owens became champion next week instead of same old same old Reigns or Rollins... but he'll probably just stick with the Jericho storyline for a while instead.

Between this and Dean Ambrose calling Lesnar "lazy" for their Mania match, it doesn't sound like Lesnar is liked at all backstage. Not that I blame anyone. It's getting old that he comes in for a few shows and headlines the second biggest PPV of the year. Not disputing that he's a big star. But maybe the UFC suspension took some wind out of his sails for me because I'm less tolerant with his placement now in WWE. Especially with guys like Ambrose and Finn Balor (pre-injury) were holding the main titles.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Wow. So glad it didn't set up yet another Rollins/Authority storyline. No idea where things go from here but the right person won that match. If you're going to preach about change in the WWE, you have it with Owens and Ambrose holding the two main championships.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
She lost a ton of momentum when the other NXT divas came up, but was still always reliable in the ring or on the mic. And the Raw women's division really needs some midcarders like her, otherwise Charlotte/Sasha/Bayley will just fight each other and become boring. I hope she comes back when she is done with Del Rio.
