SP likely to go up from that number, Jenkins down. Who knows with Dragon - a bit disappointing considering the reviews.

Wait we don't have official Thursday numbers yet?? SP should win Friday and will most likely go higher than that number. That SS number is basically a copy of the increase that GOTG saw on its second Friday I don't see it seeing a 60% increase from presumably $8.2m Thursday so it will go down.

Second Friday superhero numbers are almost always overestimated. I bet Squad comes down to $12M or less

Is SS That awful I wanted to see due to Harley Quinn but I just saw
Bourne and it was a total piece of dog turd.

Anyone know why deadline just lowered weekend predicts for SP
with no new news?

I hear matinees on Suicide Squad are down 93% and that doesn’t account for the $20.5M business the DC villain film did on Thursday.

That SP number should definitely go up since it will be more of a night movie. Disappointing if true for Pete's Dragon, but atleast Disney didn't spend too much on it. Eh for FFJ and SS numbers are pretty much expected considering the mixed WOM. Also, SP appeals heavily to the same demo aswell, so close to a 70% drop wouldn't be surprising either.

Sausage Party was pretty crowded tonight. It seems like it will have good WOM.

Speaking of bawdy, it’s a fever: STX’s Bad Moms is only set to decline 20% in its third outing with $11.1M, rising to an estimated $71.2M by Sunday in fifth place.

If it's holding this well with this much new competition it's going to have some awesome legs the rest of the summer. If it drops 20% this weekend it will surely drop somewhere in the teens next weekend.

Amazing hold if that keeps! $100M is back in the running.

Very nice drops for most of the holdovers. Sad Pets will sail pass Zootopia.

There is no argument that the WoM on this one is going to match GOTG thus I don't see it holding that well. I see it doing $12.5m-$12.8m though.

If Bad Moms drops 20%, it is almost certain to hit $100 million.

Almost? It's a lock now with its strong WOM. It survived against SP.

BM has no competition for the rest of the month as most of the films are male-oriented.

Sully will be its first competition, which releases on September 9.

If it continues to have holds like this, it will probably beat Trainwreck and Spy domestically.

A 4.6+ multiplier? I doubt that. It will be hurt by losing theatres. There will be six wide releases the next two weekends and Bad Moms' PTA is good, but not amazing.

Thanks for your input. I hope BM can make as much money as possible. It certainly deserves it.

Raw numbers are okay for SS but DCEU is becoming the twilight of Comic Book movies it seems in quality and legs
