 Shower or Bath
There has always been a stereotypical thing going on. I've been hearing that guys take showers, and girls take baths, but I think that is not neccessarily true, and it is quite stupid. Anyway, I almost always usually take a shower, just because I think it feels more soothing, although soaking in warm water relieves a lot of stress, and its a great way to relax after a hard day at work. If I had a bigger tub I would soak in it more often, but for now showers are my cup of tea. Which one do you prefer, and why?

Showers because for example. When I wash my hair I don't like to put my head underwater or use a cup, but if I wash my hair while the water is still coming down it annoys me. Another reason is because the water gets cold too quick and when you wash sometimes the germs you just washed off go back in the water and it gets dirty again and therefore you get dirty and therefore you must take another shower/bath which therefore sucks.

That is very true actually. Everytime I take a bath I always have to take a shower immediately after because I don't feel clean.

You could always do what Japanese families do...take both. Traditionally, the family all use the same bath water. However, before bathing they take a quick shower to get clean, then soak for relaxation. Utilities are more expensive in Japan and conservation is very important.
Also, onsen (hot springs) are a very big part of the culture. Many Japanese people go to them on a regular basis. Most consist of nude bathing, but men and woman are separated. Oh, and you can't go if you have a tatoo. Traditionally, only Yakuza (Japanese mafia) and criminals had tatoos though more and more young people are getting them.
So that's my cultural lesson for the day.
And I prefer showers!

I traditionally shower, but there are times when I get bruises or feel sore from riding and need to take a soak in some epsom salts. Bathing feels great then. That or when there's a lovely siren sharing with you.
Actually...I really don't mind either...just bathing takes longer, so it should be done when you've time on your hands, like winding down at the end of the day.

Bathing is cool, but too time-consuming, so showers.

Normaly Shower. but just because its faster to do. I like bathing so I try to do it when I have plenty of time. So it becomes really a relaxing thing.

Showers are for cleaning (and, with a high powered shower head, for back and neck massaging).
Baths are for relaxing (with lots of bubbles and a good book).

Ditto.
I love bath's ust don't have the time for them. Haven't taken one in about 4-5 years and alot of that has to do with living in dorms for 2/3 of the year. I imagine I will crack and take a bath before going back to school ... just because i can.
I am friends with a kid who's family didn't have a shower ... it broke and they just never fixed it ... so the 4 of them all took bath's every single day.

we used to play games while bathing. battlefart and others.
if i ever slow down and take time out for myself then maybe i'll get back to it.

when we were little ... my parents would throw throw 3 to 4 of us in the tub together. Dad would go to work washing everyones hair, and we would pass around the soap and play a game my mom taught us.
She taught it to us to help us learn our letters, and we just liked it to see if we could guess. basically one person sits behind the other one ... and writes a letter on their back ... they have to guess.
Ahh the things that entertain you when your young

I just buy lots of deodorant which negates the need to bathe altogether.

that reminds me of a Homer Simpson quote. "I'm not really a shower man.....i'm more of a cologne man!"

That's hot. Do you guys still play that game?
I'm a shower man myself. You can't really pee in the bath.

Showers. I don't have time for baths, and they aren't really fun unless someone else is in there.

I hate baths. You are sitting in water that was meant to go in the drain! DIRTY WATER!
Showers all the way baby!

Bath's in a Whirlpool Tub.
At 6ft3in, a traditional bathtub is just way too small for me. It's like I am sitting in a tub for midgits. Very uncomfortable.
Also, Whirlpool tubs are great. It's like being in the ocean to some extent and it fits more than one person. Also great for bubbles, learning foreign languages, hot sex, reading books, and watching a movie or tv show.
In other words a fine investment. I love it. \:D/
Would never want to go back to the traditional tub. I pray I never have to. I am a very water oriented person. From swimming, to waterslides, to diving boards, to oceans and beaches. From surfing to volleyball to playing bikini bandit. I love my water.
