Re: What will be the song of summer? Don't think it's a really demographic-focused thing. One Dance is a monster everywhere. Just see how Drake has stayed atop the Billboard 200 since Views came out... not because of sales (he's selling below 50k a week at this point) but because of his single streams. I don't even like the song.
The case for Can't Stop the Feeling:
+ It's summery
+ It was released in May
- It ranks #12 currently in streams in the US and #4 in the World (per Spotify)
The case for One Dance:
+ Views has been the #1 album since it was released (i.e., all of May and June)
+ One Dance has been the #1 song for seven weeks (i.e., most of May and June)
+150% more daily streams than Can't Stop the Feeling in the US and 70% more streams in the World
+ Closing in on most-streamed song of all time (at 458m streams currently... Lean On has 800m... One Dance is managing about 5m streams a day...)
- It was released in April
FYI -- Blurred Lines came out in March, Fancy came out in February, and Cheerleader came out like years before it became popular. I still contend that Lean On was the real song of last summer... and that came out in March.

Re: What will be the song of summer? I think Drake is just so huge that any crossover song he released was gonna be dominant. Views has been #1 for nine weeks in a row, mostly because of historic streaming numbers. So if you combine that with the radio play, sales and the lack of a true summer jam, the only thing that could top "One Dance" is another Drake song. He's in for an Ursher year.
