 Re: BvS (INTL)
$31m OS Monday is good but as the article mentioned it was holiday in some of the countries. Regardless in less than a week it will cross $500m WW. I still don't see it doing more than TDKR but it should cross $1b.

It should cross $500m WW by Wednesday. $700m should be happen unless it is massively frontloaded everywhere.

 Re: BvS (INTL)
Did some rough calculations for it. If it just touches $700m this weekend it won't be a great hold it needs to be close to $725m WW by this weekend. You also have to consider that it has opened EVERYWHERE (including China and Japan). TDKR did $450m so $50m-$80m of the domestic total will have to be covered from OS grosses to reach that movie's $1.08b WW.
$700m WW by this weekend would mean "only" $97m OS weekend, assuming $90m domestic and another $45m OS weekdays over $468m WW. Coming from a $256m weekend that's a steep 62% drop. So it needs to be close to $725m WW by this weekend.
From $725m then I see another $130m domestic more as the max for a total of $400m. Assuming $122m OS (generous) weekend it can get another $200m OS(not sure of the multiplier) for $1.055b WW total. Maybe my OS multiplier is not that great but the max I see this is getting $1.1b WW just ahead of TDKR.

Coming from a 5-day inflated opening, that would be quite good, especially when you consider that in its main market, China, it is expected to drop 70%+. I would be really shocked by a triple-digit OS weekend. Something in the low 90's is more likely.

 Re: BvS (INTL)
You are right the inflated weekend would definitely make its drop look bigger this weekend. If it does low 90's this weekend then $1b is surely not a lock but I do believe it will eventually crawl to it.

Decent that it stayed above $20m on Tuesday. $500m more to go.

$1B is dead. At this point it will be lucky to do $900M.

It should get to $900m for sure. $1b is a stretch but it can still happen.

 Re: BvS (INTL)
I expect a very steep drop as many markets' opening weekend had an extra day or two because of the holidays...

Still the lowest I see it doing is $90m OS this weekend. Also there isn't much competition in the market at this time so it could have a decent hold (outside of China).

Rev wrote: Just hit 900m and it'll be small victory It hit $500m in 7 days WW (only 5 domestic which is its biggest market). I don't see it stalling at $900m. $950m should happen though $1b will be a stretch.

Deadline said $930+ million would be breaking even for WB, without counting home video releases/streaming.

 Re: BvS (INTL)
Yuan has appreciated in the last few days. It was around $1 = 6.50 yuan on OW with a peak at 6.52 yuan on sunday. That's why it's $69.4m and not $72.8m.
