There are literally 3 consecutive scenes dealing with it. That's more than ANH dealing with the destruction of Alderan (I can't remember if that's the right spelling) they discuss it, it happens, and as people are dealing with it they are attacked and have hours themselves before they are destroyed.

Superman was a defender of Man, his blatant disregard is the problem people have. I honestly couldn't give 2 shits. Because Superman being allowed in a middle of an equally matched fight to also save people is less realistic. This isn't the normal Superman and it works IMO.

In all honesty the fight works and is completely misread in my opinion. The entire film is about Superman not being accepted by humans and who he really is. The fight shows him moving in a more moral direction, and the end is him ultimately choosing humanity over his own race, by saving the people in the subway. Superman wasn't Superman yet, he literally donned the suit for 2 days.

And Jesus Zwaks those rankings, and Naomi Watts is boring looking in the same day. The troll is strong in this one.
