Oh and also: some of you should really check if a screenplay is Original or Adapted before voting. It doesn't take a genius to know that Star Wars and Creed are considered Adapted.

In that case, are those dismissed since there is no way to know where they would've been ranked in the correct category?

Best Actress seems most likely there since there are really only 6 contenders: Larson/Theron/Ronan/Mara/Blanchett/Vikander. The first four are locks, and while KJers weren't so fond of Blanchett from the reviews, The Danish Girl may not been seen by many. I'd say the hotness of Vikander carries her in for the 5th spot.

No, in that case, they are counted towards the correct category. Meaning that the person basically has more votes in one category than the other. If I were discounting all such votes, we'd have a mess.

Replying to myself here, but thinking it more, Best Actor is also a strong contender for a clear set of nominees: Leo/Damon/Fassbender/Tremblay/Jordan. Depp is the only other option, but people seem to have forgotten about Black Mass.

Think Daisy Ridley is getting in.

Also, all of you need to watch more foreign language films. The category was barely activated this year. Documentary was fine, though.

Oh, and Amy Schumer. Think both Carol women won't get nominated. So I predict Larson, Schumer, Theron, Ridley and Lawrence/Vikander
