Straight Outta Compton seems to be quite strong.

Not really. Variety listed some of the ineligible ones: http://variety.com/2016/film/news/marti ... 201672993/, and animated films are also not on the ballot.

Spotlight, The Big Short and Straight Outta Compton are the films to have SAG + PGA + WGA.

The only movie in recent years to get all of those guilds but miss a Best Picture nom was Bridesmaids (ugh, still bitter).

Would have liked to see Ex Machina here. Also I was having a mini 'wtf' moment not seeing Inside Out here but apparently it's not eligible.

WGA are rendered somewhat meaningless by the long list of ineligible films year after year, especially those that ultimately go on to win at the Oscars.

Predictably, The Big Short and Spotlight won their respective categories.
