Don't worry bABA. My family has female pattern thinning hair, so mine's all but missing too. This is why head wraps are so cool. I will mail you some head scarves. They do the job well.
If not, there's always rogaine. I don't know any men on it, but I do know women who take it due to female pattern hair thinning. It works really well from what I've seen. I'll probably have to start using it by the time I'm in my late 20's too.

I know. that's what I thought when someone I knew started using it, but it really works. Basically, I hate how much hair I lose, but I can live with it for now, I know a few years from now my desire to tough it out will not hold off my desire to have a full head of hair, and then I'll probably start using it. Its a bit tricky at first, and the guy's version is stronger (they start women on it too before moving them to women's version). But then it just becomes a pattern. I don't blow-dry my hair or anything, but it would be akin to that. Just put some on in the morning and evening sort of thing. It really does work, I've seen it in action, and its not expensive. Everyone I know keeps trying to get me to go on it now because doctors say the earlier you catch it, the less strong version you need to take, etc. Eh, I haven't yet, but its a suggestion for you if you're really getting down on it.
That or hats and head scarves.

It won't make a difference to mature women, GtE. And given your seemingly mature tastes (Heaton aside), you'll be fine. By the time you are fully bald you'll be middle aged and by then 50% of men will be going through it.

I personally think your Mom is hinting that you are causing a mess in the shower and you are old enough to be cleaning up after yourself.
Remember - Moms aren't maids.

Losing hair is one of my worst nightmares... *checks head* PHEW.
There's lots of things you can do now though, hair transplants apparently work, and there are always caps. Caps are good.

The one thing I've always thought was kind of nice was silver. People that are graying, i always say i can't wait until i do. That way if I ever decide to color my hair blue again, I won't need to bleach first. and I like a little gray streak in the front or a sprinkling, those are nice.
bABA, 2 to 4 times a day! You don't work in a chemical plant with Meryl Streep and Cher do you?

If you ever get that depressed over it, I would suggest joining the hair club for men. It actually does work, as I've know two people who did that. What they do, is take seeds from the sides and back of the head. If you notice, people don't lose hair from those places. They then take some of those hair seeds, and surgically put them on top and at the front. Works like a charm, but you'll kinda look like Frankenstein until the swelling of your head goes down and the stitches are taken out.
