I don't feel right voting when I haven't seen, gosh, probably more than half the movies listed. I can't do a proper ranking when I haven't seen all the options....

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens is better than...
Out of that list, I guess Revenge of the Sith?
The Force Awakens isn't a good film in the traditional sense, using the standard benchmarks (directing, acting, writing). It's certainly better than we'd all hoped, not as terrible as we all feared. It's serviceable junk food, an okay meal from Pizza Hut. The Force Awakens is no way original or interesting in it's own right but fine for the moment. I saw it when it opened and haven't thought twice about it since. For the record, I have a Yoda tattoo and spent thousands at a charity event to see Revenge of the Sith before it hit theatres. So I guess you can say I'm a SW fan.
I have a strong suspicion that with JJ moving on, the films will only get better from here on out.

Haven't seen Spy or Ex Machina. I only picked Frozen. Another crap Disney sold pretty well.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens is better than...
It is a well made film unlike the prequels and even Jedi to some mild extent, but ir is not great. It is not the film we feared, and it was even well put together unlike the Harry Potter films and Marvel films. It brought the emotions at the right time that is to say

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens is better than...
Haven't seen TFA and Wall-E, not yet voting on the poll either. Based on the list below I do expect it to be better than about half the films on the list give or take one.
Titanic - A Edge of Tomorrow - A The Martian - A Gravity - A- Avatar - A- Guardians of the Galaxy - A- Mad Max: Fury Road A- Inside Out B+ Ex Machina - B+ The Avengers - B+ Revenge of the Sith B+ Trainwreck - B+ Frozen - B Spy - C+ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 - C The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - C Return of the Jedi - not seen recent enough to grade A New Hope - not seen recent enough to grade The Dark Knight - have to see it one more time before I grade it Wall-E - not seen

That doesn't suggest he didn't like CF, merely that he enjoyed SW more

Star Wars: The Force Repeats is marginally better than:
Spy Trainwreck Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Pt. 2
the rest of the films listed are superior / more enjoyable

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens is better than...
The Force Awakens is definitely not better than:
The Dark Knight WALL-E Revenge of the Sith Inside Out
..... and maybe Mad Max: Fury Road.
