That being said, yaaaahooooo. It is nice being right with my ultra crazy predictions for once. $265m / $1.03B was my final prediction and it looks to be on target. Though I'm not as confident in the late legs, the initial tidal wave of hype might carry it over anyways.

If it's 130 million, that would be 43% of its Friday gross from previews. It will probably fall about as much today as that drop. So probably a 74 million Saturday.

Not that anyone cares, but Sisters is projected at 5-6 million and Alvin is at 4-5. Both should hit mid teens, and 100 million total is certainly in play for both if those numbers stick.

If The Good Dinosaur had actually met expectations, SW would have been a big enough boost to make a horse race between Universal and Disney until the end. It just seems too much of a stretch at this point. But Disney/universal will contribute to $4.5-$5 B of the box office from a year tallying $11 B. Kind of embarrassing for some of the other studios that almost seem like non-factors this year.

The map favors wealthier states those with fewer densely populated cites - since the data comes from facebook, it makes sense that those would be places with more facebook use.

It strikes me as silly that certain states would have higher SW popularity than others with any level of significance.
