The problem with taking a day to mourn is that ISIL is still out there and may be staging other immediate reprisals.

Ya know what that reminds after the Charlie Hebdot attack there was this big coming together of world leaders. They walked through the streets of Paris or something arms linked. Something like that and now zoom forward to today. Nothing had changed. ISIS still killing folks daily. Blowing up planes, suicide bombing Beirut, poor victims still being beheaded and on and on. Hollande this time calls it an act of war and hopefully it's treated at such. Maybe they'll actually do something this time around or maybe it will be just another superficial crowd pleasing walk through the streets of Paris.

On another note, enough of investigating these people too. I heard on CNN they talk about how the FBI is monitoring individuals in all 50 states or how France is monitoring a few hundred individuals. Enough of that, it's time to bring these people in and start interrogating. Their civil rights if any be damned. Need to learn who they know and what they know if anything. Either it's war or it's not war. I don't want anymore investigations and "charges". This is what enemy combatants procedures were meant for, no?

War costs money. It can bankrupt countries. Not many head's of state will want to go to war and have it potentially ruin their reputation. Western democracies are fickle. The people are all for war until something goes wrong, then they change and blame the Prime Minister or President - so I really don't blame any head of state for being hesitant to invade another country.

That being said, I wish something would be done. Here comes my wishful thinking again; Nuking Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan would be fine by me. But first, the CIA and all other world organisations would have to do a few things:

1) get all Westerners out of these countries.
2) stop Iraqis, Syrians, and Afghans from leaving those country for a period of one year before they nuke - need as many their as possible so we can well and truly wipe out their blood lines. Need to kill the women and children too, because we don't want any angry child becoming the new Bin Laden in 30 years time.
3) manage to keep this all a secret before they carry it out.

Turn all these countries to dust! Aren't all of these countries dust anyway? So it would just be adding a little more dust to the already-dusty plains.

And how could this be be sorted out? Anyone who uses the word 'terrorist' never will, just like they won't completely solve any of the world's problems. John Kerry said just a couple days earlier that their days are numbered, they have no path forward, no future, without destruction. As if he can be responsible for everything that might be of consequence. No, he plans to destroy anything in America's way. The west/christianity built this hell and when it erupts they use it to portray themselves as representing humanity against any opposition, which must by default be inhuman. Sort of like someone in Syria they despise. They talk like they think they deserve respect from every day and place under the sun until it consumes the earth some 4 billion years from now. Every day of my life I have been on the other side of the war they declared to rule and control everything and I can assure you they have always lost in time.

Like their bill of rights: false promises, broken dreams, half-hearted appeals to gain legitimacy and respect, always underlined by a lust for power. Like every empire: all for a vision that fades into the night.

When is the next attack on the US? It's been a while. Al Qaeda are getting sloppy.

What probably needs to happen is the U.S, Europe, Russia, and Iran need to have an alliance. Work with Arab countries build a coalition and use Arab troops to take down ISIS.

That sort of thing will inevitably be done by those made far more vulnerable by the ways the world. I only cry anyway about things deeply personal to me and within my control. I wouldn't cry for all the pain in the world if there was nothing I could do about it (whether I felt it myself or not). All the tragedies that ever happened never made me cry. Thinking hypothetically whether my own decisions could ever make someone die or if they would die for me: made me cry.

But if someone were to say "cry me a river" to anyone upset by Paris I expect you would rightly find it completely disgusting and reprehensible. I'm not disgusted by you. I pity you because you never had the opportunity to know anything else. But until you literally cry a river over IS, you are being hypocritical. You do not appear to tolerate anyone truly contradicting the war on terror narrative. An idea isn't made better only because it is used to advocate a cause people believe in. And the results will be no better either if its a bad idea.

It would work the 3rd time? How is that the needed comprehensive solution any more than the original invasion of Iraq or the 2007-2008 surge (or should I say 4th given that Obama said that IS was contained right before Paris)?
