 Creed - Does it stand a chance? Maybe not the Oscars, but does it stand a chance at any awards? I mean, the original Rocky was nominated and won many highly respected awards. Could it be a surprise contender? Golden Globes and Critics Awards, perhaps.
I suppose it depends if they campaign for it. It's one of those films. But it certainly has talented attached to it, and considering it's not a numbered sequel, it may reset the ignorance and the Academy might give it a chance.
I'd say it has about a 5% chance right now. But I could really see it evolving as one of those films to do well and shock everyone. I don't know, maybe I'm being crazy.

Re: Creed - Does it stand a chance? The only chance at awards I see is supporting actor. They're slim, but if the story goes the way I think, that will increase its chances. However, I only see a nomination for it, not a win.
