Why would Mitt Romney stop Trump? Another stiff. A multi-time loser who maybe had a mind for business once, but is now a do-nothing politician type. He is not going to make America great again, believe me. Did you see him in the debates? He was terrible! Terrible! And I gave him money! I don't know what happened. He is just a stiff. Just terrible.
Romney is a much stronger candidate. People respect him greatly and his reputation isn't Bush's.
He won't beat Hillary but he will come closer than Trump.

Too much faith in Hillary. It's going to be a pleasure watching her sink on election night.

It doesn't matter who. She's no Obama. She isn't a good speaker. She has endless baggage. She has Bill clinging to her side the slimeball. Her voice is screeching and she definitely won't win the female vote like she's begging to have happen because voting for her isn't about guilt and voting for her isn't about being the first female president.

Having Bill by her side is the biggest trump card any candidate could have. People love him.

Same Trump. Same message. Without the overcomb.
He is playing the same talk 27 years later. America getting ripped off by countries like Mexico, China, and Saudi Arabia. Pure soundbite. No details. No studies to back them up. No scrutiny from the media; they never get to the depth of things. Trump is not alone. He is joined by Clinton, Bush, and Walker alike. Shallow rhetoric. Never get to the truth.
I'd rather marry lindsay Lohan than represent Mel Gibson.

He is criminally overrated, but so is pretty much any "good" President since Eisenhower.

Bill really helped Hillary in 2008. Now he is just Bill Cosby-lite.

You have my support, Trump, if David is not running.
Rand Paul could not wait to wag his tail at the GOP, but not American people.

I thought John Kasich won the debate if anyone did.

The biggest thing I took from that debate is that Jeb is boring

Re: The Gift That Keeps On Giving: Trump 2016
Nobody spoke enough to really change anything. I will say this: Fiorina def. deserves to be on that stage more than a Scott Walker or a Rand Paul or a Mike Huckabee. Jeb will never win. Carson, Kasich, Walker, etc don't have the personality to win. People who spend too much time on issues nobody cares about like Huckabee, Rubio, Paul etc will never win. I think the biggest takeaway, IMO, was how much everybody has forgot about Chris Christie.
CC def. has a Trump factor to him in that he is tough and not PC. He may well still be the GOP's best shot at victory. Jeb Bush needs to get off the stage. He is such the embodiment of the GOP establishment which will never, ever win again. Trump will obviously never win but he has more than carved out a place for himself in the political conversation. He was the obvious Alpha male in the room.
Its early but a Christie/Fiorina ticket might be the GOP's best hope.
But good god, they have to stop talking about abortion, gay marriage, etc. NOBODY. CARES.
Jeb Bush is just....he doesnt seem like he wants to be there. He doesn't have W's natural charisma or likability, and it isn't 1999.
Trump will remain the obvious front runner while I expect Bush and Paul to decline and Christie and Fiorina to rise in polls.
