Well, right now Titanic stands at 6.9/10. Too many haters...
I personally don't see any movie ever dethroning The Godfather anymore.

I agree. IMDb top 250 list has earned certain esteem since the votes come from regular people instead of an AFI top 100 list and it also contains films from different eras. It has gotten to a level that people are comparing movies using it, and some of them will adjust their grades once they find out one movie has, in their opinion, undeservingly passed an all-time great.

Sin City will be the next example of adjusted grades. The rise is too fast and the drops will follow.

Eye-to-eye...you remember how many you used to get from me for the horror threads? Speaking of which, I'm actually going to see this Reeker thing I think.
Anyways, has anyone seen something this year to add to the list? I don't think Steamboy quite made it for me, and I haven't seen some of the other ones that have been getting alot of good wom.

You can ask bABA over in The Site if you want it changed there is a sticky for requests. I think its random unless bABA or Eagle assign one to you.
I think I also want to add Johnny Stecchino to the list. I've been hesitating because its slapstick comedy, but its pretty much the only slapstick one I've liked so far, and I thought it was really cute and well done for a comedy.

I'll definitely see Reeker as soon as it gets a release over here. Which might take a while...
I am nominating Sophie Scholl: Die Letzten Tage. Another great movie about the Nazi-regime, even though far more personal and small-scaled than Downfall.

mods, can you please sticky this until it reaches 100?
I have a funny feeling Kung Fu Hustle is going to get listed sometime in the near future. ESP, I guess.

Does Leon actually count as a foreign movie?
Surely if Leon counts then Enemy at the Gates must count as well?
