I'm not famous in the slightest. Ok, that's me done. But some of you have been in movies and TV, am I right? and some of you own websites and what-not (which may or may not also have social media followings). Some are writers. I'd love to know which films/TV some of you have starred in, or extra'd on. Or which books you've written, and how successful they were. What is your level of fame and industry recognition?

How many of us have even been on television? And not just TV shows, even on the news! or a game show! This doesn't equate to fame in the general sense, but it still is fame (even if it's just locally being known as the guy in the village that was on a game show).

Many people here seem to hint at having insider gossip and stuff, so how many have made that work to their advantage? I know that The Dark Shape, thompsoncory, and a few others seem to see films way before the rest of us. Thegun is also something to do with movies. Maybe an editor or something, I've forgot. David could easily be writing for Variety or another famous news source. Lecter owns his own site and presumably is known in the German market (same goes for mark66). xiayun had his own blog.

So who is the most famous?

Not sure if anyone could be a famous actor and post on a forum that has about 20 active members, all of which may not collectively represent the masses (which is what I imagine a famous actor would be seeking). But I do think most of our users have a claim to fame of some sort. I think some were in movies and TV shows. I'd love to know who and which projects...

I've reached that weird stage where I've run into strangers in cities I don't live in and they've recognized me from my work. It's cool but weird. The world is a lot smaller than we think it is thanks in part to the internet.

Yeah, so it seems to be Loyal. I don't anyone else has even been on TV with their name on screen before.

Why does fame matter?

I'm the most famous person in my world and I care more about my world than the celeb world. I've argued with and caught the attention of a few famous people online but I don't care about them more than any other person online. Well, when I do it is because I like them.
