You actually have both House of Flying Daggers and Gladiator higher than CTHD. Glad you place CTHD that high though. =D>

Well, Xiayun, there's Hero.
Glad I was able to see Nausicaa before making this list.

I'm sure The Four Feathers is the least popular of these four. I really loved it though, an epic that's 2 hours long, but feels like 4.

Yeah, many people think CTHD should have won best picture in 2000, and while I agree it's great, I thought the academy did get it right for once.
In any case, it's more reflective of how much I liked HOFD and Gladiator then CTHD. They are all quite different from each other.

Very tense, and extremely thrilling. I didn't think they could pull if off with the concept going in, but it was perfect. The entire way it didn't let down.

Fifth for me. I never thought I'd have 5 foreign films in my top 20.

Man on Fire is the best of Tony Scott's films and the best english language film of last year. Many critics seemed not to like it because of the torture scenes, but I didn't have any problem with that. Some may disagree with me on this, but torture does work, and I wouldn't judge someone like Creasy for using it when a little girl's life is on the line.
