 Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
How can we not talk about family when family is all that we got? Good, fuck Uptown Funk. Interesting to note this is the first hip-hop song from a black rapper to hit #1 in two years, since Florida's "Whistle".

Not Flo Rida.
I'm glad Uptown Funk didn't get the record.

 Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
I'm also happy that "Sugar" wasn't the song to take it down, as that is even worse than the lame, but relatively harmless "Uptown Funk". Maroon 5 get worse and worse by the song. They're music is like a Shakespearean Tragedy and its hard to remember the times when I was jamming out to "Harder To Breathe" and "This Love".

Songs About Jane doesn't sound like a Maroon 5 album at all at this point.

k. And "ARTFLOP" sold how much more than Britney Jean? Let's not.
Let's just see if this manages to sell well, maaaybe it'll debut in the top 10 but with the whole streaming business who knows.

 Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
And your point? CTC doubled Britney Jean's sales in the US despite being a jazz covers album, and it won Gaga another Grammy. If anything Brit's team is trying to emulate Ariana Grande's success with Problem in getting Iggy.

Oh bitch plz. As if Britney ever needed help with her singles. She's giving Iggy a chance to stop the hate she's getting.

Go Shut Up and Dance. I'm fine with See You Again being #1 just as long as it's not by June.

 Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Trap Queen is likely going #2 next week. The fact that this would have been the song to dethrone Uptown Funk had See You Again not existed. With Nasty Freestyle set to enter the top 10 in the coming weeks, I think it's safe to say that Vine is now a veritable hitmaker. Also, this is the first time since 2006 that there's been only 1 female in the top 10.

Potential Top 10's in the coming weeks:
11. David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj, "Hey Mama" (up) 12. Andy Grammar, "Honey I'm Good" (up) 13. Tove Lo, "Talking Body" (up) 18. DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge, "You Know You Like It" (up) 19. Fifth Harmony, "Worth It" (up) 53. Taylor Swift, "Bad Blood" (Re-entry)
Ready for the inevitable shake-up next week as the top 10 is completely stale at this point. Taylor will likely be in the top 2.
