Sure. There may be some actuals that includes Monday and Tuesday, too.

Re: Japan Box-Office: Golden Week (Apr. 29 - May 06)
Not yet. Everyone is on vacation during Golden Week and with two of the biggest days of the holiday frame happening on Monday and Tuesday (the days that local sources post box office news), weekend numbers have been very delayed. The weekend results should be released tomorrow, though.
And I'll provide some estimates post-Golden Week (as of Wednesday) tonight.

Re: Japan Box-Office: Golden Week (Apr. 29 - May 06)

Cactus Large Attack! (Toho) 19 Days ¥355 million ($3.0 million) / ¥2.50 billion ($21.0 million), Furious 7 (Toho-Towa) 27 Days ¥280 million ($2.3 million) / ¥1.00 billion ($8.3 million), Parasyte (Part 2) (Toho) 12 Days ¥250 million ($2.1 million) / ¥800 million ($6.7 million), Ryozu and the Seven Henchmen (Warner Bros.) 12 Days ¥110 million ($915,000) / ¥170 million ($1.4 million), Focus (Warner Bros.) 5 Days ¥70 million ($580,000) / ¥220 million ($1.8 million), Chateau de la Reine (Toei) 12 Days ¥50 million ($415,000) / ¥2.70 billion ($22.7 million), Assassination Classroom (Toho) 47 Days ¥40 million ($340,000) / ¥190 million ($1.6 million), Whiplash (Gaga) 19 Days ¥30 million ($250,000) / ¥3.85 billion ($32.4 million), Doraemon: Nobita's Space Record of Space Heroes (Toho) 61 Days ¥30 million ($250,000) / ¥60 million ($500,000), The Next Generation - Patlabor – Capital Decisive Battle (Shochiku) 5 Days ¥25 million ($210,000) / ¥70 million ($580,000), Code Geass: Akito of the Lost Kingdom - Chapter 3 (Showgate) 5 Days
Note: These are estimates using the estimates of this past weekend. So, there's a lot of room for error, especially regarding the totals.
Monday-Wednesday admissions outpaced the Weekend's by 2-to-1 for most films.

Some actuals
"Actuals for DBZ: 2364976 admissions, 3,113 BYen, a bit lower than estimates (avg TP 1316 yen) Actuals for FF7: 1851971 admissions, 2,567 BYen in line with estimates (avg TP 1386 yen) Cinderella is at 2,9BYen (2,3M adm) and Conan 3,5BYen (2,82M adm)"
Chances of DBZ hitting ¥4 billion?

Re: Japan Box-Office: Golden Week (Apr. 29 - May 06)
I'm kinda shocked my extended estimates were so close to the actuals across the board. None of them were really off, amazingly.
¥4 billion is probably 50/50 for Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F. I would say it's likely but the last film looked good for ¥3 billion, yet it finished with ¥2.99 billion. So I wouldn't be surprised if Toei doesn't push the new film to ¥4 billion, having it finish with ¥3.8/3.9 billion.
I'll post the full Weekend Ranking tonight.

Hemsworth is an attractive guy. I can appreciate that. Also, he works out, and I appreciate that too. I don't want to bum him, though.

Re: Japan Box-Office: Weekend Ranking (Golden Week)
Weekend Ranking (05/02-03) 01 (01) Cinderella (Disney) Week 2 02 (02) Detective Conan: Sunflowers of Inferno (Toho) Week 3 03 (03) Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F (Toei) Week 3 04 (--) Biri Gal (Toho) DEBUT 05 (06) Crayon Shin-chan: My Moving Story! Cactus Large Attack! (Toho) Week 3 06 (04) Furious 7 (Toho-Towa) Week 4 07 (05) Parasyte (Part 2) (Toho) Week 2 08 (07) Ryozu and the Seven Henchmen (Warner Bros.) Week 2 09 (--) Focus (Warner Bros.) DEBUT 10 (--) Code Geass: Akito of the Lost Kingdom - Chapter 3 (Showgate) DEBUT
>Cinderella repeats atop the box-office over the weekend frame of Golden Week.
Disney's latest hit grossed ¥511,957,900 ($4.3 million) with 386,129 admissions, down just 8% from its opening weekend. More impressively, however, is its running total through to the end of Golden Week (May 6th), having exceeded ¥2.9 billion ($24 million) with over 2.3 million admissions after 12 days in release.
Most films tend to drop off heavily after Golden Week, but Cinderella should hold up enough to make a good run at topping ¥5 billion (near $45 million), the blockbuster milestone in the market.
>Detective Conan: Sunflowers of Inferno holds strong in second place over the weekend, and as of May 6th, has already exceeded ¥3.5 billion ($29 million) with 2.82 million admissions after just 19 days in release.
It's already outgrossed most of its predecessors, and it's very likely to become the highest-grossing film in the entire franchise, too. Expect for this one to aim for an impressive ¥4.5 billion (near $40 million).
>Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F manages to hold onto the third position, but keeps falling pretty hard regardless of the holidays. After 19 days in release, the latest DBZ film exceeded ¥3.1 billion ($26 million) with 2.36 million admissions, already outgrossing Dragon Ball Z: Battle of God's ¥2.99 billion total, thus becoming the highest-grossing film in the franchise.
>Biri Gal was easily the biggest opener over the weekend, and certainly exceeded most expectations. Playing on 285 screens, the film grossed a nice ¥285,113,100 ($2.4 million) with 224,845 admissions over the weekend.
This has to be a nice surprise for Toho, with it possibly aiming for ¥1.5 billion, since most Golden Week openers are dumbs (everyone releases their big films a week or two before the holidays). And its an even bigger success when you consider it outopened the very expensive and heavily promoted, Parasyte (Part 2).
>Focus comes in at a disappointing 9th place, only taking in ¥81,051,800 ($675,000) with 59,465 admissions across 234 screens over the weekend. Of course, this wasn't expected to do well, but any debut below ¥100 million when playing on 200+ screens is generally bad.
>And finally, Code Geass: Akito of the Lost Kingdom- Chapter 3 debuts in 10th place, despite playing in limited release across 36 screens. No weekend figures have been released yet, however.

Re: Japan Box-Office: Weekend Estimates (05/09-10)
Weekend Estimates (05/09-10)
01 (01) ¥313 million ($2.6 million), -39%, ¥3.35 billion ($28.0 million), Cinderella (Disney) Week 3 02 (04) ¥185 million ($1.6 million), -35%, ¥1.05 billion ($8.8 million), Biri Gal (Toho) Week 2 03 (02) ¥162 million ($1.4 million), -60%, ¥3.73 billion ($31.2 million), Detective Conan: Sunflowers of Inferno (Toho) Week 4 04 (06) ¥140 million ($1.2 million), -39%, ¥2.76 billion ($23.1 million), Furious 7 (Toho-Towa) Week 5 05 (--) ¥120 million ($1.0 million), 0, ¥120 million ($1.0 million), Poison Berry in My Brain (Toho) NEW 06 (03) ¥117 million ($975,000), -62%, ¥3.27 billion ($27.4 million), Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F (Toei) Week 4 07 (05) ¥113 million ($945,000) , -54%, ¥1.77 billion ($14.8 million), Crayon Shin-chan: My Moving Story! Cactus Large Attack! (Toho) Week 4 08 (08) ¥76 million ($635,000), -50%, ¥910 million ($7.7 million), Ryozu and the Seven Henchmen (Warner Bros.) Week 3 09 (07) ¥74 million ($620,000), -53%, ¥1.10 billion ($9.1 million), Parasyte (Part 2) (Toho) Week 3 10 (09) ¥44 million ($370,000) , -46%, ¥290 million ($2.5 million), Focus (Warner Bros.) Week 2
A lot of expected declines post-Golden Week.
>Cinderella held fairly well, though (again proving it's not targeting kids/family audiences, but instead has a strong adult audience), claiming its 3rd-consecutive week atop the box office, and still looks on track to eventually reach the ¥5 billion ($40-45 million) blockbuster mark.
>Detective Conan: Sunflowers of Inferno experiences its usual 60% decline this weekend and if it follows last year's film from this point forward, will finish with ¥4.3/4.4 billion ($36/37 million), making it the highest-grossing film in the Detective Conan franchise (including the Lupin III crossover film), and will secure it a position in 2015's Top 10 films.
>Furious 7 already outgrossed all its predecessors over a week ago, and continues to add to its very impressive total. It'll exceed ¥3 billion next week (possibly over the weekend), and could finish as high as ¥3.3 billion ($27/28 million). That'd be 70% higher than Fast and Furious 6,and a figure that won't be easy for Hollywood's Summer fare to beat either.
>Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F continues its rapid decline following its incredible opening weekend and may have fallen out of the Top 5. It has been very frontloaded, even with the Golden Week support but it's hard to be disappointed considering it's become the highest-grossing Dragon Ball Z film in the franchise. It's very likely to finish below Toei's ¥4 billion target, however, instead aiming for ¥3.7/3.8 billion ($31/32 million). That might be enough to make 2015's Top 10, but the year still has many big films to come.
>Poison Berry opened in-line with expectations.
>Parasyte is quite the disappointing project. The first film already disappointed, barely reaching ¥2 billion, but the second-half may not even hit ¥1.5 billion. Some very costly losses here.

Re: Japan Box-Office: Weekend Estimates (05/09-10)
So DBZ is still on track for ¥3.7-3.8 billion then, that's alright. I wasn't sure if that was going to be considered out of reach with the big drop.
I don't see how it can make another ¥500 million but I wouldn't really know.

Re: Japan Box-Office: Weekend Estimates (05/09-10)
After doing some weekly projections, it is more likely to finish with ¥3.5/3.6 billion rather than ¥3.7/3.8 billion. It's just not stabilizing even at this stage of its run.
¥3.5 billion+ is certainly very good, though. It's just a little disappointing after its incredible opening weekend. And it may not finish more than 20% above the last film, but I really don't think there's much room for the franchise to actually grow anymore. It's an older franchise now that has a set fanbase.

Re: Japan Box-Office: Weekend Ranking (05/09-10)
Weekend Ranking (05/09-10) 01 (01) Cinderella (Disney) Week 3 02 (04) Biri Gal (Toho) Week 2 03 (02) Detective Conan: Sunflowers of Inferno (Toho) Week 4 04 (06) Furious 7 (Toho-Towa) Week 5 05 (03) Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F (Toei) Week 4 06 (--) Poison Berry in My Head (Toho) DEBUT 07 (05) Crayon Shin-chan: My Moving Story! Cactus Large Attack! (Toho) Week 4 08 (08) Ryozu and the Seven Henchmen (Warner Bros.) Week 3 09 (07) Parasyte (Part 2) (Toho) Week 3 10 (09) Focus (Warner Bros.) Week 2
So after a strong Spring and the Golden Week holiday frame, we ow enter May and June, two of the weakest months of the year.
>Cinderella had no problem retaining its hold atop the box-office for a third-consecutive week. The reigning box-office champ earned ¥322 million ($2.7 million) in its third weekend, down a respectable 37% in its post-Golden Week weekend. And after three weeks in release, has exceeded ¥3.3 billion ($28 million) with 2.67 million admissions.
It's going to finish around 25% below Maleficent (closer to 20% in admissions), but without a major star in the lead, it's nothing to be too disappointed about, especially if it manages to reach the ¥5 billion milestone (blockbuster status).
>Biri Gal surprises in its debut last weekend, and does so again in its second weekend. The surprise hit rose two spots delivering the best hold in the Top 10, despite opening over Golden Week. It's very common for films that open during Golden Week to crash thereafter, but the weekdays and this weekend have been very strong for this one.
Biri Gal has exceeded ¥1.2 billion ($10 million) and is just a few thousand admissions away from reaching 1 million admissions after two weeks in release. I mentioned last week that it'd probably finish around ¥1.5 billion, but with the strong post-Golden Week performance so far, it's probably going to end up closer to ¥2 billion. Quite impressive.
>Detective Conan: Sunflowers of Inferno slips to third place in its fourth week of release, and brought its running total above ¥3.7 billion ($31 million) and hit 3 million admissions over the weekend in the process.
It has posted the highest opening weekend and 2/3/4-week totals in the franchise's history, and should finish pretty close to ¥4.5 billion and 3.5 million admissions. The growth of this franchise these past few years has been impressive as it's nearing blockbuster territory now.
>Poison Berry in My Head misses the Top 5, earning ¥123,171,300 ($1.0 million) with 90,417 admissions across 316 screens over the weekend.
There wasn't much expectations for this film (being a far less popular Josei manga adaptation) and an opening of this level on 300+ screens is poor, but at least broke the ¥100 million mark. There are likely to be many openers like this until we reach July.
