Axl Rose.

He was the reason behind the break up of Guns N' Roses, and because of his laziness, we've been waiting for Chinese Democracy since 1999 ( right now i definitely think it will NEVER be released ), but in his days he was the best, hands down. He could sing in 5 voices, was a great songwriter, and an excellent frontman.

Steven Tyler would come in second place, with Liam Gallagher in a distant third.

Wow, I didn't realise Axl Rose had that much power!

Joe Strummer, David Gahan, Bruce Dickinson.

EDIT: David Byrne also.

:razz: well, Axl was always known as one of the most powerful men in music, but he's definitely not THAT powerful. Even Bono isn't that powerful

John Lennon had the greatest voice ever! There are people who are technically better "singers" , but nobody had a better voice.
