Re: Best Original Screenplay: which film SHOULD win? I guess I'd like to see arguments one way or another here, as opposed to lists. Lists tell you very little except what you think is better than the other. (Did you absolutely love all the nominees, or are two of them by far and away better than the rest? What constitutes a deserved winner in Best Original Screenplay for you?)
For me, Birdman, Boyhood, and Budapest are all deserving winners, but I have no idea who I would actually vote for. Literally love all three movies. Have not seen Foxcrawler or Nightcatcher.
