Clearly they've gone for all the easy targets again, but I do think some of them are totally justified. There isn't much point in choosing people just to be controversial. If it's crap, it's crap. I like the idea of a Redeemer Award, but isn't that going against the idea of the Razzies? I feel these awards are trying to actually be taken seriously. There is only one real joke award (Kellan Lutz's abs/glutes).

I have no fucking idea what they were smoking when they agreed to put Mel Gibson up for Worst Supporting Actor. I guess it really has nothing to do with the performance, and a lot to do with your general perception in the industry. The best picks for me are Kiefer Sutherland in Pompeii (Worst Supporting Actor), Melissa McCarthy in Tammy (Worst Actress), and Left Behind for Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay and Worst Actor (Nicolas Cage). I am so surprised that The Expendables 3 didn't get more nominations, and Sabotage, where is the hell is that? These films are the easy pickings that the Razzies love. And wow, they've really got it in for Cameron Diaz this year.

Anyway, I can totally see Seth McFarlane turning up to accept any awards he might get.

Huh. A lot of these may be justified (even though I liked Pompeii, Kiefer Sutherland is a great choice for Worst Supporting Actor), but Charlize Theron was pretty good in the not-so-good Million Ways to Die in the West.

Exactly. The film sucked, but she was one of the few good aspects about it. When I saw she was nominated, it was clearer than ever that these are a joke.

Where are Vampire Academy or Endless Love or more noms for The Other Woman?

I don't think Charlize Theron was good at all. I believe they also nominate people for "career choice" too.

I hope next year they don't forget Blackhat, but looking at the B.O., I doubt any member has seen it.

The Razzies isn't about bombs. It's about bad movies, and in a year where Mortdecai, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Spy, Entourage, Ant-Man, Terminator: Genisys, and the aptly titled Trainwreck are released, I don't think Blackhat has to worry, especially because it's probably the best film of 2015.

I guarantee Spy and Ant-Man won't be nominated for any Razzies.

Neither will Trainwreck, which is going to be fucking hilarious.

That may be so, guys, but they're infinitely more likely to get nominated than Blackhat.
