 Best Picture - pick your favorite! Not the one you think will win, but the one you want to win.
I still need to see Selma and American Sniper, but out of the rest, I'm gonna go with Whiplash.

Daaaaamn. The fact that I keep bitching about Boyhood and it is STILL my third-favorite nominees actually says a lot about this year's batch. I would not have nominated a single of those, except Whiplash. Hell, I would not have nominated Interstellar or Gone Girl, but I would still have preferred them to almost all of the nominees this year.

Still, having only seen half the BP nominees, this is BY FAR the best batch of Best Picture nominees ever. Usually the Oscar noms make me shrug with disappointment, but having 4 out of my 5 favorite films of the year make the cut..... Unprecedented.
