But Pike and Witherspoon are both absolutely fantastic in their films. Jones is good too although she'd probaby end up being my least favorite in the category.

Really never liked her much in anything except Children of Men and The Kids Are All Right. I guess Blindness too. Always thought she was a bit overrated. (but I haven't seen any of these films yet, I'm refraining from voting in most of these polls unless I've seen most the nominees)

Re: Best Actress: who SHOULD win? Rosamund Pike should for me. I thought her performance was more than memorable. It's the best piece of the film. It truly seemed on par with iconic villains in film like Hannibal Lector or Annie Wilkes.
Were Julianne not drowning in a serious losing streak she might actually have won but Moore is long overdue. I thought she should have won for The Hours.
