Protests still continuing, and maybe because of the press involved with the protests at the U.S. based Kate and William events, the protests are now going on in the UK.

Don't understand why this one was ruled a homicide, as he reached for the toy gun and the officer wasn't told it might be fake.

To me, the Wilson Brown one seems much more questionable.

Rice had been playing with a pellet gun, and a witness who saw "a guy with a pistol" told 911 twice that it was "probably" fake but that Rice was scaring people. It doesn't appear the 911 dispatcher told the responding officers of the caller's suspicions that the gun was probably fake.
Police have said that Loehmann opened fire after Tamir reached for the gun in his waistband and that an orange tip indicating the gun was a toy had been removed. Rice said she didn't allow her son to play with toy guns, explaining that one of his friends gave it to him.

Ok, Al Sharpton. Keep living in that fairy tale land, with the junk you are spouting.

You want to ruin the life of another hard working police officer, who was just trying to do a tough job, protecting the innocents of society.

Anyway, I have been stopped by the cops and questioned a number of times, and I just answer there questions. If you have nothing to hide, you shouldn't have a problem. Deal with it. Something black leaders and the protesters would never say. But they would not have a problem with violence and crime.

Anyone see the DC Washington protest walk? Saw it on the news. Boy do they have alot of complaints! As they showed one who listed about 10 topics including the number of blacks in prison, the low salaries of black people etc.

Sorry but the only way to solve these problems is with time? I know for the last 20 or 30 years, they have talked and given alot to young blacks allowing them to go to school. So what have they done with that? Have they gone and graduated and then gone on to better jobs and got there kids into school?

That is the only way things will change. But if you have done nothing, just kept on bitching, nothing deserving is going to get better for you.

I like how everyday, we have new protests, which include assaults on police and protestors being arrested for violent and unruly attacks.

As the protests keep on going on and are getting more and more violent, I see everyone here has stopped talking about the problem. Well guess it isn't a big deal, as not many here had any decent ideas. Just bitching and complaining.

Give me some links? I have read and seen the news, the violence is pretty low outside of Oakland which is a shithole and violent attacks like that happen a lot, and a few isolated drunks in Boston.

You must not read most f the stories, as most involve more assaults on cops, violent attacks and lots of interruptions. And if the whole nation is going to blow up because of these 3 questionable or correct incidents, they all the attacks that they protestors cause should be pointed out.

Also I just read some statements from Obama, about how he and other blacks don't get treated acceptable. Well based on crime reports among blacks, if I wad say a cab driver, I would be careful picking up any black passengers, just like I would watch the wilder ones of any race.

Stop the black crime first, and then we might get somewhere.

I watch CNN, read the news online from places like the AP and google. The violence has been low. I saw the LA Riots, and the violence hasn't even been a 1/3 of what happened during that mess. You are really just blowing it out of proportions. Either you are very young and ignorant or just trying to screw with us.

At least 2000 protestors expected at the mall of America on Saturday, and MoA is stating that the protests wont be allowed on their private property.

Should be interested.

New York Cops shot in patrol car by guy walking in the street. At least one cop dies.

I wonder if this incident will cause the police to take a harder stand on the protests, even though this didn't happen at a protest. Other protests had things being thrown at police, including multiple garbage cans, plus numerous assaults by hand or object. And before this the cops had it, even arresting more protestors for incidents at rallies.

Also saw on the news some pro cops, were wearing, I Can Breath Shirts. dont expect that to go over well.

Why should they take a strong stand on protests. He wasn't a protester but a murderer. Protesting is peacefully assembly which we have a right to in the first amendment. The first amendment is the most important one in our constitution without I wouldn't want to be an American.

LOL. The militant adherence to the constitutional amendments by Americans has always been interesting to watch indeed.

I don't see how that is strange. It is important part of our government. There are many countries that don't have the right to assemble or speak their minds. I think those are rights are something to embrace. I would rather have those right then live in country like China or Russia where I could be arrested for speaking out against the government

I assume you prefer living in a country where laws are written down and followed and not made up on the spot on a whim? You do know the American Constitution can be changed? For example, the First Amendment and the other nine Amendments in the Bill of Rights, changed the Constitution in the period immediately after the Constitution came into being.

Here are some things in the Constitution, lets see what you disagree with or at least dislike "militant adherence to"

Due Process (i.e., you cannot have rights taken away without a trial of some sort)
Equal Protection Under the Law
Free Speech
Free Press
Free Assembly
Freedom of Religion (personal) and Non-Establishment of a Religion (federal/gov't)
Freedom of Association
Trial by Jury (which you can waive, if you like)
Voting Rights (age, sex, race, etc.)
Illegality of slavery

Much of the rest of the Constitution delves into the powers reserved to the Congress, President, Judiciary, States, and the People.

You say you are so well read but you keep missing or ignoring so many things.

The protests have been illegal and violent, starting with the lets burn it down, to violence and property damage, to blocking roads and highways, and all the time, verbal and physical attacks on the police.

Also the NY Shootings happened by an out of state killer who travelled to NY to make that statement. I also know a Florida cop was killed this morning, but I haven't read again if there are any details.

And here is a post the NY cop killer made.....Brinsley, allegedly wrote in an Instagram post, “I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today. They Take 1 Of Ours…Let’s Take 2 of Theirs #ShootThePolice #RIPErivGardner #RIPMikeBrown.” He concluded with, “This May Be My Final Post.”

I also just read a story on how the statements by Obama and Holder and the NY Mayor could have caused some problems, as they made public statements talking about the problems that they have had as black men.

And a 3rd cop just missed dying....A third NYPD cop narrowly escaped with his life Saturday night when a suspect pointed a gun twice at him and pulled the trigger in The Bronx — not realizing the weapon was empty.
