 Re: Nov 14-16 Predictions
I wonder how wide The Homesman will go. Roadside Attractions generally does a few hundred for their movies with commercial appeal that have big names involved.

I could see a Sin City 2 type thing happen. This past weekend and year really has really shaken my faith in any movie movie breaking out again.

 Re: Nov 14-16 Predictions
I could see Saving Christmas breaking into the top 10 with numbers for the lower half being so low.

 Re: Nov 14-16 Predictions
I hear so many people talking about Dumb & Dumber To. It's really hard to predict, IMO. I could see it underwhelming or breaking out.

 Re: Nov 14-16 Predictions
Interstellar- -40%
I thought it could drop anywhere from 20-60, so I took the average of those two extremes.

 Re: Nov 14-16 Predictions
Considering that Imax was a whopping 28% of Interstellar's weekend, I wonder if next weekend Imax could break 35% of the weekend gross. That would be something. What's the highest Imax share for a wide release?

Rosewater is opening in around 350 theaters this weekend already. Surprised they're going that wide so fast.

VINCENT - 4.54 MILLION (-16%) 7. FURY - 4.052 MILLION (-28%) 8. NIGHTCRAWLER - 3.277 MILLION (-39%) 9. OUIJA - 2.817 MILLION (-52%) 10. BIRDMAN - 2.72 MILLION
I do believe Saving Christmas will probably get into the top 10 but don't know what to predict for it so I'm leaving it out.

 Re: Nov 14-16 Predictions
Should Interstellar's Mono-Thurs total exceed 22 million, it's extremely unlikely it drops over 40% this coming weekend.

 Re: Nov 14-16 Predictions
Yep, Dumb & Dumber is going to do well. #1 ticket seller right now with 25% of sales. There hasn't even been a straight comedy in wide release since summer's Let's Be Cops unless I'm forgetting something. Everything since has been more dramedy than all-out comedy.
