You realize that the prequel titles were revealed less than a year before each release, yes?

I didn't follow stuff like that back then. And today's fans are a lot more ravenous, especially when every other movie gets a title like 3 years in advance.

What other movie besides Batman V Superman has a title?

Attack of the Clones was called something like Jar Jar's Big adventure for almost a year. No on cares about that. It's like Bond. Everyone will call it that new Star Wars films, like they did with the others.

sub $400m - disappointing
$400-$500m - good
over $500m - fantabulous

$550m is my prediction with a range of $510-$565m

Yeah, with OT cast, and no SW in 10 years (Not comparable to Hobbit which was always a tough sell being told in three films)

150/450 should be the average prediction right now. Nothing is out to go negative towards it. Even Attack of the Clones adjusts to 435 million. The only reason my opening for it isn't 180+ right now is because of the December release.

I honestly can't wait, it feels like it will be like something we've never seen before Christmas box office wise.

If it does 150 million, it will do 600 million domestic.

If AOTC adjusted to $435m then I'd argue $500m is the floor. That's even if Star Wars is not as bulletproof as it used to be. I predict Episode VII will be in a much better position than AOTC. TPM level anticipation, better WOM (I'm predicting), and the OT cast will drive higher attendance than AOTC.

Looking ahead to the 2017-2019 timeframe, Episode VIII and IX will have to face an even more crowded field for 18-34yr old males should they move to summers. DC Comics will have their releases in full swing by then, along with Marvel's. If those Episodes stick with December release then you have one of them going head to head with an Avatar sequel.

I wouldn't bet on it. My personal prediction is BvS will open huge but be terrible and have terrible WOM, the Justice League movie will be delayed once more, and the solo films etc. will be put on hold as well.

Now that's the worst prediction you've ever had

With this, I seriously recommend you to stop posting this kind of negative sh*ts

Meh, that's just my personal opinion. I don't think BvS will be any worse than Man of steel. That's more what i wish would happen than what probably will happen.

My prediction is a little more optimistic. Batman vs Superman will be big enough to get a Justice League follow-up, and that will be big but less than hoped for.

Yeah, it could've been "Age of Vader" or something stupid like that.

the phantom menace
attack of the clones
revenge of the sith

a new hope
the empire strikes back
return of the jedi

the force awakens

seems by far the worst title of the 7, but i guess the title doesn't matter much

It keeps in line with the titles of the first films of the other 2 series.

I disagree Attack of the Clones is the worse title of all 7. It isn't even close. TPM is pretty bad too.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens

I suppose it's not too bad. But it's nowhere near the epicness of the other six.
